So, if you’ve ever dieted or you’re trying to lose weight, you really need to know how your body is storing fat and how you’re burning the fat. So, I’ve created this diagram to give you a better visualization of that.
And these are the different body compartments. The first one is the blood circulation and that’s where your calories that you consume through your food are coming in and being metabolized and being used up by you for energy. The excess calories that you don’t burn flow over into the subcutaneous fat and are stored and that’s what you can actually pinch and that’s the what we call the stubborn fat.
Next compartment would be into the muscles and muscle cells and that’s called intracellular intramuscular triglyceride and that’s how and that your body your muscles can actually use that up for for fuel and for energy as well. Next compartment is liver and that can lead to fatty liver which can cause a lot of health issues including inflammation alongside with many many other problems that come from fatty liver.
So the next level, if you’re consuming calories that you’re not burning, it can even go into the pancreas and the beta cells and can cause insulin resistance or type 2 diabetes and it can even go into your bones and lead to osteoporosis. So this is the process. This is how your body is storing the excess calories that you don’t burn.
Now the way the proper diet works is you start to lose the fat from inside out. So you start to get the health benefits of a proper diet first before you can see the actual the the visualize the weight loss which is that’s why that’s called the stubborn fat and that’s the subcutaneous fat which which you pinch.
so that’s the the process and that’s the sequence of how your body stores fat and and burns the fat. A quick note by the way approximately extra 115 120 calories that you don’t burn every single day is about a pound of fat at the end of the month. That’s about 3500 calories.
So just keep that in mind. And when when you’re doing a diet, you want to make sure you get into a good nutritional ketosis and and it’s consistent and you can see the health benefits from a proper diet. A tip basically from the start of the program.
